MSPORTS – In a stunning turn of events, Federico Gatti emerged as an unlikely hero, securing an extraordinary stoppage-time winner that propelled Juventus to a 2-1 victory over Monza at the Brianteo Stadium on Friday. 

The match had already witnessed heightened drama when Valentin Carboni nullified Adrien Rabiot’s opener, leaving the outcome hanging in the balance.

Throughout the game, Juventus displayed a palpable desperation to clinch victory and seize the top spot, evident in the relentless pressure exerted by each player from the outset. 

Despite star striker Dusan Vlahovic’s unsuccessful attempt to capitalize on his goal against Inter last week—his penalty saved by Michele de Gregorio in the 11th minute—the team persevered.

Reflecting on the match, Juventus manager Max Allegri voiced discontent with their defensive performance but lauded his players’ swift response to the setback. “We left too much room for Carboni, but my players reacted immediately,” he said.

Looking ahead, Juventus gears up to face reigning champions Napoli on December 8 in what promises to be another gripping encounter.
