Travis Kelce has publicly apologized for his actions during Super Bowl LVIII acknowledging that he made a mistake by shoving and shouting at coach Andy Reid. The NFL tight end’s aggressive behavior towards Reid captured by TV cameras drew criticism on social media. Kelce initially downplaying the incident after the Chiefs’ 25-22 win later admitted he was wrong on his New Heights podcast.
He expressed regret for his emotional outburst stating that his passion for winning sometimes gets the better of him. Kelce also shared that Reid instead of being angry appreciated his passion and inspired him to lead the team to victory. Despite Reid’s understanding Kelce offered a sincere apology to his coach.
