Klay Thompson’s Bench Brilliance: 35 Points Comeback Stuns Jazz

Klay Thompson made a remarkable return from the bench after 12 years scoring a season-high 35 points as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Utah Jazz 140-137. Thompson who had not been benched since his rookie season in 2012 also achieved the milestone of 15,000 career points becoming the 153rd player in NBA history to do so.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr praised Thompson’s competitive spirit and performance off the bench. In other games the Memphis Grizzlies secured a surprising 113-110 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks while the Minnesota Timberwolves handed the Portland Trail Blazers a 128-91 defeat extending their losing streak to six.
