Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is facing an injury crisis ahead of the matches against Luton Town and Chelsea with Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota both picking up injuries in the win against Brentford. Jota is expected to miss both games due to a knee injury while Nunez’s return may come sooner.

Mohamed Salah’s minutes may be managed and Curtis Jones is set to miss the Luton game. Klopp could turn to teenage starlet Trey Nyoni who is on standby along with other youngsters like Lewis Koumas and Jayden Danns. Nyoni (16) joined Liverpool from Leicester in 2023 and has been on the bench in previous fixtures.

Klopp emphasized the importance of giving youth a chance and mentioned other talents like James McConnell, Bobby Clark, Koumas and Danns. The status of Nunez and Salah remains uncertain with Klopp taking a day-by-day approach.
