Klopp’s Champions League Triumph Puts Him in a League of His Own, According to Graeme Souness

Liverpool legend Graeme Souness asserts that Jurgen Klopp surpasses Arsene Wenger as a legendary manager primarily due to Klopp’s Champions League success. Klopp who announced his departure from Liverpool has secured numerous titles including the Premier League and Champions League.

Souness emphasizes the significance of winning the Champions League and believes it places Klopp in a unique and legendary category. This is not the first time Souness has downplayed Wenger’s achievements previously stating that Wenger’s legacy doesn’t match Sir Alex Ferguson’s or Pep Guardiola’s.

Souness credits Ferguson for building multiple successful teams and acknowledges Guardiola’s influence on the game’s evolution particularly in playing out from the back.
