The Manchester City player expressed remorse to his pregnant wife, Annie Kilner and acknowledged the pain he has caused. Walker, who has three children with Kilner, expressed regret for not being there for her during her pregnancy. He also took responsibility for the hurt his actions have caused others.
Walker and Kilner are reportedly spending time apart as she prepares to give birth. The footballer acknowledged his mistakes including previous lockdown breaches and allegations of indecent exposure and expressed remorse for the impact on his family. Despite the personal turmoil, Walker continues his football career having recently been named in the Fifpro’s Men’s World XI after helping Manchester City secure multiple trophies last season.
