A recent report reveals that Kylian Mbappe is the highest-paid player in Europe earning €6 million (£5.15 million) per month, more than twice the salary of the second-highest earner, Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane who earns €2.10 million (£1.80 million) monthly.
Mbappe’s future has been subject to speculation, with him set to leave PSG when his contract expires this summer. Other top earners include Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland, David Alaba, Robert Lewandowski and Mohamed Salah.
The report also highlights PSG financial dominance in Ligue 1 with their players occupying the top spots in terms of salaries. Bayern Munich’s Manuel Neuer and Thomas Muller are among the top earners as well.
