Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham has been reported to La Liga by Getafe for allegedly directing a slur at Mason Greenwood during a recent match. Bellingham is accused of calling Greenwood a “rapist” after a confrontational tackle near the touchline.
Getafe has requested an investigation into the matter and asked for appropriate action to be taken if the allegations are proven true. Former La Liga referee Iturralde Gonzalez stated that Bellingham could face sanctions if found guilty and Getafe may present evidence to the Competition Committee to defend Greenwood.
Greenwood on loan from Manchester United has been embroiled in controversy in the past but Getafe will await Man Utd’s decision on his future.
