Lafreniere Shines with First Career Hat Trick in Rangers’ Victory

Alexis Lafreniere’s first career hat trick delighted Rangers fans at Mullett Arena as he led his team to an 8-5 victory over the Coyotes. Lafreniere’s standout performance included five points, marking his first 50-plus point season in his four years NHL career.

His contributions, alongside assists from Ryan Lindgren and Zac Jones, secured the win for the Rangers. Meanwhile, defenseman Jacob Trouba returned to the lineup after missing 11 games due to a lower-body injury. Although Trouba finished with a minus-two rating, coach Peter Laviolette commended his efforts and expects him to improve as he gets back into game shape.

Matt Rempe was a healthy scratch for the second consecutive game.
