Late Arnautovic Goal Gives Inter the Edge Over Atletico in Champions League Duel

Marko Arnautovic a substitute for Inter Milan secured a crucial advantage in their Champions League last-16 clash against Atletico Madrid. Arnautovic capitalized on a parried shot by Lautaro Martinez netting a powerful shot from a tight angle.

Despite Arnautovic missing earlier chances including heading over the bar Inter secured a 1-0 victory. Atletico last season’s Champions League runners-up struggled to create significant opportunities. Inter’s goalkeeper Yann Sommer maintained a clean sheet leaving Atletico with a challenging task in the second leg on March 13.

Inter Milan leading Serie A continues their strong form with a nine points lead.
