Following allegations of ‘inappropriate behavior’ against Horner, he was cleared of any wrongdoing which he vehemently denies. However, during the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend supposed messages allegedly sent by Horner were anonymously leaked leading rival team bosses to demand transparency.
Horner held meetings with FIA and Formula 1 bosses in response. It was later revealed that the female employee who made the allegations against Horner had been suspended from Red Bull with reports suggesting she is launching an appeal with new legal representation.
The situation has stirred media attention and speculation with uncertainties surrounding the futures of key figures like Helmut Marko, Adrian Newey and even Max Verstappen. As the ‘turbulence’ continues it remains uncertain when the issue will be fully resolved with the Australian GP approaching at the end of March.
