The commencement of the new Formula One season faced disruption as a leaked email claiming to contain messages between Christian Horner and the female complainant circulated after an investigation had cleared Horner of alleged inappropriate behavior.
The anonymous email sent to media, F1 personnel and team members included images and reignited speculation. While the email’s sender remains unknown, Horner denied the allegations and affirmed the investigation’s conclusion.
Critics, including Toto Wolff and Zak Brown called for transparency emphasizing the need for F1 and the FIA to have access to the investigation findings. Despite the controversy, Horner expressed his commitment to leading the Red Bull Racing team. F1 and the FIA are yet to comment on the matter.
