Leeds United has secured the loan signing of Premier League defender Connor Roberts from Burnley until the end of the 2023/24 season. Roberts brings a wealth of experience in the Championship having previously won the division and earned promotion with Burnley.

The 28 years old was recognized for his stellar performances last season being named in both the EFL Championship Team of the Season and the PFA Team of the Year. With over 50 international caps for Wales, Roberts adds valuable depth to Leeds’ squad.

He has made 16 appearances for Burnley this season and is versatile capable of playing on both the right and left side of defense. Roberts began his career at Swansea City and will reunite with former teammates Dan James and Joe Rodon at Leeds, as well as international compatriot Ethan Ampadu.
