Leicester City revived their Championship promotion bid with a comeback win against Norwich at the King Power Stadium. Gabriel Sara opened the scoring for Norwich but Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall equalized for Leicester before halftime. Stephy Mavididi and Jamie Vardy then secured the victory for Leicester in the second half. Despite Norwich three games winning streak coming to an end, Leicester victory was only their third in eight league games.
Manager Enzo Maresca praised his team’s mental strength and emphasized the importance of focusing on each game individually. Meanwhile, Norwich coach David Wagner acknowledged his team’s defensive organization but expressed disappointment with their performance in possession, highlighting the need for improvement in upcoming matches. The win puts Leicester back in contention for promotion while Norwich will look to bounce back in their next fixture against Ipswich.
