Leverkusen’s Alonso: ‘Nothing New to Say’ About Bayern and Liverpool Speculation

Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso linked with Bayern Munich and Liverpool has addressed recent speculation about his future. Amidst rumors connecting him to the vacant Liverpool managerial position and the upcoming vacancy at Bayern Munich, Alonso stated there’s “nothing new to say” and emphasized his current role as Leverkusen’s coach.

With a successful campaign leading Leverkusen to the top of the Bundesliga, Alonso downplayed questions about Bayern’s contact and insisted he’s focused on his current job. Despite uncertainties, Alonso expressed his commitment to being Leverkusen’s boss pointing to his contract until 2026 and stating his current preparations for the next season.
