Liverpool Eyes Feyenoord's Arne Slot as Jurgen Klopp Successor

Liverpool is in search of a new manager following Jurgen Klopp announcement of his departure at the end of the season. Arne Slot currently with Feyenoord has emerged as a potential candidate after Xabi Alonso and Ruben Amorim withdrew from consideration.

Slot success in leading Feyenoord to the Eredivisie title last season and the KNVB Cup this year has drawn praise from Netherlands legend Marco van Basten who considers him suitable for top clubs like Liverpool. Despite interest from other clubs, Feyenoord technical director Dennis te Kloese is confident Slot will honor his contract which was extended last year.
