The match between Luton Town and Bournemouth which was abandoned due to Luton captain Tom Lockyer suffering a cardiac arrest has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 13th.
Lockyer received medical treatment and was hospitalized during the original fixture on December 16th leading to the game’s cancellation at 1-1 in the 65th minute.
The rescheduled Premier League match will kick off at 19:30 GMT. Lockyer who had an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) device fitted returned to the stadium for Luton’s subsequent match against Brighton on January 30th receiving applause from both sets of fans.
Bournemouth expressed their delight at Lockyer’s recovery and look forward to hosting the rearranged fixture at Vitality Stadium.
