Malaysia’s top men’s doubles pair, Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik faced defeat in the quarterfinals of the French Open 2024 against South Korea’s Kang Min Hyuk-Seo Seung Jae ranked number two globally. The 2022 world champions lost 19-21 and 16-21 in the 43-minute match at the Porte de la Chapelle Arena in Paris.

South Korea’s Min Hyuk-Seung Jae will proceed to face either the top-seeded Indian pair Satwiksairaj Rankireddy-Chirag Shetty or the Thai duo of Supak Jomkoh-Kittinupong Kedren. Despite their French Open exit, Aaron-Wooi Yik can aim for a comeback at the upcoming All England Open where they are scheduled to face compatriots Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani in the initial rounds.
