In Ningbo, China, Malaysia men’s doubles team consisting of Goh Sze Fei and Nur Izzuddin Rumsani secured the silver medal at the Asian Championships today.
Despite their efforts, the 19th-ranked pair lost to China’s Liang Wei Keng and Wang Chang who are ranked third in the world with a score of 21-17, 15-21, 21-10 in the final held at the Ningbo Olympic Sports Centre.
This marks the third consecutive time that a Malaysian men’s doubles duo has finished as runners-up in the tournament since 2022. The last Malaysian pair to win the Asian title was Choong Tan Fook and Lee Wan Wah back in 2007.
