Erik ten Hag has addressed Alejandro Garnacho after the Manchester United winger liked tweets criticizing his substitution during the Bournemouth match and implying he was unfairly singled out. Garnacho swiftly unliked the tweets, showing remorse and any further actions will be handled internally.
Although Garnacho was replaced at half-time in the 2-2 draw, he contributed to Fernandes goal but also made errors leading to Bournemouth goals. Erik ten Hag explained the substitution, citing the need to strengthen the right side and mentioning Garnacho limited training due to illness.
Despite being a key player, Garnacho has faced recent substitutions. Erik ten Hag previously dealt with social media issues involving Jadon Sancho.
