Manchester City has reached an agreement to sign Girona winger Savio in the summer with paperwork expected to be finalized soon. Savio who has been instrumental for Girona this season attracting interest from other clubs will join City Football Group (CFG) affiliate club after being loaned from Troyes.
Despite holding Troyes’ registration, Savio has excelled at Girona contributing five goals and seven assists in La Liga. The 19 years old will continue with Girona until the season’s end to aid their title pursuit.
Predominantly a left winger, Savio will provide competition for Manchester City’s wide options. Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest’s Joe Worrall and Ui-jo Hwang have secured loan moves to Besiktas and Alanyaspor respectively in Turkey.
