Manchester United Antony Faces Summer Exit Amid Struggles and Lack of Impact

Manchester United is open to offers for Brazilian winger Antony this summer as his disappointing stint at Old Trafford continues. Despite being the club’s second most expensive signing at £86 million from Ajax 18 months ago Antony has struggled to make an impact. With just one start in the last eight games and a lack of goal contributions in the Premier League this season, Manchester United is willing to sell him.

The new co-owners, INEOS are assessing the squad’s cost and effectiveness. Manager Erik ten Hag who signed Antony believes in his potential but acknowledged distractions in the player’s personal life affecting his performance. The decision to prioritize younger talents over Antony in recent matches reflects the disappointment with his form.
