Sir Jim Ratcliffe the new co-owner of Manchester United has suggested that Mason Greenwood may still have a future at the club. Greenwood was suspended by United in January 2022 after facing charges related to an incident. However, all charges were dropped a year ago.
Despite being sent on loan to Getafe in Spain it was thought that Greenwood might be sold this summer. Ratcliffe stated that a decision on Greenwood’s future would be made at the end of the season considering factors such as his suitability as a footballer and his character.
The co-owner emphasized the need for a fair decision based on facts rather than hype.
