Manchester United have had discussions with Jadon Sancho during his loan stint at Borussia Dortmund with Erik ten Hag stating that their dispute will be resolved in the offseason. Sancho 24 years old joined Dortmund on loan in January after a falling out with Ten Hag which led to him not playing for United since August. The disagreement stemmed from Ten Hag leaving Sancho out of the squad for a match against Arsenal claiming he hadn’t trained to the required standard.
Sancho disputed this claim on social media, leading to tension between the two. Regarding Sancho potential return to the United squad, Ten Hag mentioned ongoing discussions and monitoring the player’s performances at Dortmund. It’s understood that United representatives, including John Murtough and Matt Hargreaves traveled to Dortmund for talks with Sancho. Ten Hag declined to delve into the apology issue emphasizing the need to focus on the ongoing season.
He expressed confidence in Bruno Fernandes commitment to United despite injury concerns, praising Fernandes determination and highlighting his past performances while injured. Additionally, Harry Maguire absence due to injury exacerbates United defensive woes with Casemiro filling in. Maguire aims to return for the FA Cup final and the Euros this summer.
