Mario Andretti Compares Hamilton’s Struggles to Schumacher’s Decline

F1 legend Mario Andretti comments on Lewis Hamilton’s struggles with Mercedes, comparing his situation to Michael Schumacher’s decline. Hamilton’s move to Ferrari at the end of 2024 ends his successful partnership with Mercedes. Andretti suggests that Hamilton’s performance has been affected since George Russell joined Mercedes as his teammate in 2022 similar to Schumacher’s struggles with Nico Rosberg.

Meanwhile, former driver Hans-Joachim Stuck questions Ferrari’s decision to replace Carlos Sainz with Hamilton, especially after Sainz’s recent victory at the Australian Grand Prix. Stuck believes Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur may regret the decision.
