Max Verstappen: Comfort at Red Bull but Eyes Open for Future Opportunities

Max Verstappen has left the door open to potentially joining Mercedes in the future after Toto Wolff expressed his admiration for the reigning world champion. Verstappen’s future with Red Bull has been under scrutiny following off-track controversies involving team principal Christian Horner.

Despite signing a contract extension with Red Bull until 2028, Verstappen remains non-committal about his long-term plans stating that he doesn’t know what will happen beyond that period. Verstappen emphasized his comfort at Red Bull likening it to a second family but hinted at the importance of retaining key team members for sustained success.

He expressed his intention to see out his current contract highlighting the significance of the journey with Red Bull. However, he refrained from naming specific individuals as key players within the team.
