Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry clinched victory at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans after triumphing over Chad Ramey and Martin Trainer in a play-off. Ramey and Trainer set a target of 25 under with a nine-under 63 but McIlroy and Lowry forced the play-off with a birdie on the final hole finishing at 25 under with a score of 68. The Irish duo secured victory by paring the first play-off hole as Trainer missed his par putt.
