McIlroy Six Shots Behind Leader Bhatia after Texas Open Second Round

Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy shot a 70 in the second round of the Texas Open maintaining his position six shots behind leader Akshay Bhatia. Despite carding three birdies and a bogey, McIlroy sits at five under par. Bhatia also shooting a 70 leads the field by five shots at 11 under.

 Meanwhile, in the LIV Golf Miami tournament, Spain’s Sergio Garcia shares the lead after a bogey-free round of 67. Garcia alongside Americans Talor Gooch and Peter Uihlein leads at the Trump National Doral course. The tournament has two rounds remaining with Bubba Watson and Jon Rahm among the contenders.
