Daniil Medvedev acknowledges the formidable challenge posed by Jannik Sinner emphasizing the need to be at the peak of one’s game to have a chance against him. Sinner unbeaten in 2024 clinched his maiden Grand Slam title at the Australian Open defeating Medvedev in a five sets marathon.

The Italian’s impressive form continued with a victory at the Rotterdam Open propelling him to a career-high No. 3 in the ATP Rankings. Medvedev leading the head-to-head but having lost the last four encounters recognizes Sinner’s improved play and mental strength.
