Midweek Showdowns: FA Cup Fixtures Revealed as Clubs Brace for Intense Battles

In the FA Cup fourth-round replay, Chelsea secured a crucial 3-1 victory over Aston Villa earning them a spot in the fifth round against Leeds United. Manchester United after waiting for the outcome of Nottingham Forest versus Bristol City discovered they would face Nottingham Forest in the next round.

Defending champions Manchester City will travel to Luton Town while Liverpool hosts Southampton. Other fixtures include Coventry City versus Maidstone United, Leicester City against Bournemouth, Blackburn Rovers taking on Newcastle United and Wolves hosting Brighton.

The midweek schedule aims to alleviate the workload on clubs and there will be no replays with ties going to extra time and penalties if necessary.
