Mikel Arteta made five changes to the Arsenal lineup for their match against Luton, the most he has made in the league this season. This risk paid off with Emile Smith Rowe earning man of the match and Reiss Nelson stepping in for Bukayo Saka.

Although not as thrilling as previous wins, Arsenal secured a comfortable three points. Arteta was able to rest key players like Saka and Rice while giving more minutes to Partey and Zinchenko returning from injury. This rotation was crucial considering Arsenal upcoming fixtures.

Arsenal squad depth is now stronger than last season where a draw against Southampton effectively ended their title challenge. With the win, Arsenal climbed back to the top of the table putting pressure on Liverpool. However, Arteta needs to keep an eye on Kai Havertz yellow card count as two more would lead to a suspension.

Arsenal faces Brighton next on Saturday.
