Liverpool is preparing to offer Mohamed Salah a new contract to fend off interest from Saudi Arabian clubs though there is uncertainty surrounding Luis Diaz’s long terms future. Salah who signed a three years contract in 2022 will have only a year left at the end of the current season attracting attention from Saudi Pro League clubs.

Despite significant bids in the past, Liverpool is determined to retain Salah. The club is open to offers for Diaz linked to Spanish clubs. Liverpool’s next manager and sporting director aim to secure new contracts for key players including Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk a top priority for the post-Klopp era.

Virgil van Dijk acknowledges the club’s significant changes ahead but is uncertain about his role beyond his current contract’s 18 months term.
