Motherwell Expresses Player Safety Concerns Ahead of Dundee Clash

Motherwell expresses concern for player welfare ahead of their Scottish Premiership match at Dundee which is set to proceed after passing a third pitch inspection with help from covers borrowed from Celtic. Despite initial doubts from Dundee earlier in the week, the game was given the green light just two hours before kick-off.

Motherwell manager Stuart Kettlewell voices disagreement with the decision, citing concerns about player safety due to the pitch condition. He also criticizes the disparity in club investments, highlighting Motherwell expenditure on their own pitch.

However, both Motherwell and Dundee express gratitude to staff and volunteers for their efforts in ensuring the match can proceed. In other fixtures, Peterhead game at Bonnyrigg Rose, Elgin City match against Spartans and Stirling Albion encounter with Alloa Athletic are also confirmed to go ahead after passing inspections.
