Mounting Pressure on Erik ten Hag Amid Manchester United Struggles

Reports suggest that Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is facing mounting pressure to improve team performances following a draw against Brentford. While Ten Hag had a successful first season with United including reaching an FA Cup final and securing a top-four finish in the Premier League this season has been challenging.

The team finished at the bottom of their Champions League group and have struggled for consistency in the league, currently sitting in sixth place. Despite a recent FA Cup win against Liverpool providing some respite, a disappointing display against Brentford has reignited concerns. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano notes that discussions regarding Ten Hag’s future are ongoing with results in the final months of the season crucial in determining his fate.

The Daily Telegraph also reports dissatisfaction from INEOS the club’s owners, following lackluster performances against Fulham and Brentford. The pressure is mounting for Erik ten Hag to deliver improved results to secure his position in the longer term.
