Fulham secured their first Premier League win of 2024 defeating Bournemouth 3-1 with Rodrigo Muniz scoring twice. The Cottagers dominated early, opening the scoring through Bobby De Cordova-Reid. Muniz extended the lead but Marcos Senesi’s goal narrowed the deficit.
Muniz responded quickly restoring Fulham’s two goals advantage. Despite Bournemouth’s efforts including missed chances by Dominic Solanke, Fulham held on for the win. The victory lifted Fulham to 12th place surpassing Bournemouth in the table.
Willian and Muniz were instrumental for Fulham contributing to their first league triumph since December 31. Bournemouth’s slow start proved costly as they suffered their first away league defeat against Fulham since April 1992.
