Rafael Nadal return to professional tennis sparked excitement at the beginning of the season with plans to participate in the Australian Open 2024. However, the 22 times Grand Slam champion suffered an injury during the Brisbane International 2024 forcing him to withdraw from the tournament.

Fortunately, Nadal  coach, Carlos Moya has delivered positive news indicating that Nadal is recovering ahead of schedule and aiming for a comeback at Doha followed by the American leg of the tour. To minimize stress on Nadal body, his team has opted for a surface-friendly calendar avoiding the South American clay season.

Moya predicts that Nadal will contend for titles upon his return likening him to a released bull eager to compete. Nadal’s comeback is eagerly anticipated by tennis fans worldwide especially with the French Open approaching.

While Nadal has hinted that this could be his final season, staying injury-free could extend his career. All eyes are on Doha as Nadal prepares for his return to the ATP Tour.
