Lazio has appointed Croatian Igor Tudor as their new manager following Maurizio Sarri’s resignation at the age of 65 prompted by a string of poor results. Tudor (45) previously coached Marseille and managed Serie A clubs Udinese and Hellas Verona.
As a former player for Juventus in Italy’s top flight, he brings both managerial experience and familiarity with Italian football. His debut match will be against Juventus on March 30 with Lazio currently in ninth place in Serie A trailing by four points for European qualification.
Additionally, Lazio will face Juventus in the Italian Cup semi-finals next month.
