During the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend it was revealed that technical director Matt Harman and head of aerodynamics Dirk de Beer had submitted their resignations although Harman was still present on the pitwall. The team subsequently announced a new three pillared structure similar to McLaren with Joe Burnell as technical director (engineering), David Wheater as technical director (aerodynamics) and Ciaron Pilbeam as technical director (performance). All three report to team principal Bruno Famin.

The engine team in Viry is led by technical director (power unit) Eric Meignan focusing on the 2026 project. Recent Enstone COO John Woods and Viry’s counterpart Renault veteran Audrey Vastroux have started their roles. Alpine attributes these changes to a challenging start to the season and sees them as an opportunity for improvement.

The departures of Harman and de Beer prompted the organizational rethink aiming to enhance collaboration and performance across technical areas. Famin expressed trust in the new structure and thanked the departing members for their efforts wishing them success in their future endeavors.
