No Confirmation from Mbappe to PSG on Real Madrid Transfer

Kylian Mbappe has not informed PSG about his departure this summer contrary to recent reports. As of Saturday evening, the player has not communicated any intention to leave for Real Madrid and PSG remains unaware of such a decision.

Although the possibility of Mbappe moving to Madrid exists, PSG is prepared for all scenarios. Any potential move to Madrid would likely require them to make Mbappe the highest paid player in their history. Despite ongoing rumors in France and Spain, no official communication has been made to PSG. 

Mbappe who scored in PSG’s recent win had previously considered a move to Real Madrid in May 2022 but opted for a two years extension with PSG. Tensions arose last summer when Mbappe declined to trigger a contract extension leading to a period of exclusion from the first team.

Despite earlier complications, Mbappe was reinstated just before the new season after positive discussions and PSG affirmed his commitment to the club.
