Mikel Arteta has affirmed his commitment to staying at Arsenal beyond the current season dismissing reports of his potential departure. Speculation arose in Spain linking Arteta to the Barcelona job suggesting he might leave Arsenal at the end of the season. However, sources indicate that Arteta has no intention of leaving and he is contracted with Arsenal until the summer of 2025.
The reports surfaced following Xavi’s announcement that he would step down as Barcelona head coach at the end of the season. Arteta who took on the managerial role at Arsenal in 2020 has a successful record with the club, winning 124 out of 210 matches. As of now, Arteta remains committed to his role at Arsenal.
