Substitute Noah Ohio rescued Hull City with a late goal to secure a 3-3 draw against Championship promotion hopefuls Ipswich. Despite two stunning goals from Omari Hutchinson putting Ipswich ahead goals from George Hirst, Ozan Tufan and Liam Delap kept Hull in the game. Ohio late strike via the crossbar leveled the score keeping Hull playoff hopes alive. Ipswich needs four points from their remaining two games to secure promotion to the Premier League.

Hirst gave Ipswich an early lead but a mistake from goalkeeper Vaclav Hladky allowed Tufan to equalize for Hull.  Hutchinson sensational strike just before halftime restored Ipswich lead. In the second half, Delap leveled the score again before Hutchinson scored his second with another brilliant effort. Ohio late goal salvaged a point for Hull. Both teams had chances to win with Tufan missing opportunities for Hull and Cameron Burgess hitting the bar for Ipswich. Despite late drama, neither team could find a winner.

Hull boss Liam Rosenior praised his team’s spirit and connection with the fans while Ipswich manager Kieran McKenna highlighted his team’s positive attributes and Hutchinson work ethic and humility.
