Norrie’s Resilience Shines: Advances to Australian Open Third Round in Thrilling

British tennis player Cameron Norrie secured a comeback victory in the Australian Open’s second round, defeating Italian qualifier Guilio Zeppieri in five sets. Norrie, seeded 19th, faced challenging conditions and two rain delays but demonstrated resilience to win 3-6 6-7 (4-7) 6-2 6-4 6-4. He advances to face 11th seed Casper Ruud in the third round. However, fellow Britons Katie Boulter and Jack Draper experienced second-round defeats. Boulter lost 6-3 6-3 to China’s Zheng Qinwen, while Draper fell 6-2 3-6 6-3 7-5 to American 14th seed Tommy Paul. Despite setbacks, Boulter remains positive about her performance and progress in the competition.
