Off-Field Troubles: Keane Worried About Marcus Rashford Performance

Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane criticized Marcus Rashford, labeling him as an “idiot” for his recent behavior which involved missing training after being seen at a Belfast nightclub. Keane emphasized the importance of Rashford prioritizing football over flashy cars and luxury watches.

Erik ten Hag, Manchester United’s manager cited Rashford’s absence as due to illness but reports suggested otherwise indicating a night of heavy drinking. Keane urged Rashford to focus on his game expressing concern that his off-field distractions might be affecting his performance.

While Rashford has been recognized for his charitable endeavors off the field his recent conduct has sparked concerns with Keane implying that he’s becoming susceptible to criticism. This isn’t the first time Rashford has faced scrutiny having experienced a similar incident in 2023.

Despite his philanthropic wor there are apprehensions about his on field performance this season with worries that his lifestyle choices may be impacting his game.
