Olivier Giroud clinched victory for France against Chile in a friendly match in Marseille. Despite Marcelino Nunez giving Chile an early lead, France fought back with goals from Youssouf Fofana and Randal Kolo Muani. Giroud sealed the win with his 57th international goal.
Chile new coach Ricardo Gareca suffered his first defeat as Dario Osorio late goal wasn’t enough. France coach Didier Deschamps made several changes to the team that lost to Germany with only Mbappe and Tchouameni retained.
