West Ham has agreed to transfer Spanish midfielder Pablo Fornals to La Liga club Real Betis for a fee of 8 million euros (£6.8 million). Since joining West Ham from Villarreal in 2019, Fornals has amassed 202 appearances but has struggled for regular playing time this season due to new signings Mohammed Kudus and James Ward-Prowse. Despite West Ham exercising a one year contract extension for Fornals in December they were open to letting him depart if a suitable offer was made.
