Paul Warne expressed his pride in Derby County performance after Owen Moxon goal secured a draw against title chasing Portsmouth at Fratton Park. Derby initially took the lead with a stunning effort from Joe Ward but Abu Kamara leveled the score soon after.

Ward then scored again before halftime, putting Derby in the lead once more. However, Moxon  25-yard strike equalized the game, leaving Warne side four points ahead of Bolton in the race for second place. Warne praised his team’s tactics and hard work, crediting the analysts and coaching staff for their preparation.

Despite the disappointment of conceding a late goal, Warne was pleased with Derby overall performance and highlighted their defensive resilience and threat on the counterattack. He emphasized the importance of the point earned and its potential significance in the season’s outcome.
