Pep frantic over City draw
The manager of Manchester City, Pep Guardiola, lost his cool when his team drew 2-2 with
Crystal Palace due to poor defense and a last-minute penalty. City led 2-0 at halftime but conceded goals in the second half from Jean-Philippe Mateta and a 95th-minute penalty by Michael Olise after Phil Foden fouled Mateta in the box.
“It is not bad luck, it is deserved,” Guardiola declared. We give away two points.” City have dropped nine points this season from goals conceded after the 80th minute.
Due to a foot injury, they are without their leading scorer, Erling Haaland. Due to the draw, City is now fourth in the title race, having played one more game than the top three teams—Aston Villa, Liverpool, and Arsenal.
