Perak Hosts International Muay Thai Championship to Boost Tourism

The Malaysia International Muay Championship (MIMAC) 2024 will take place at Dataran Warisan Taiping from May 30 to June 2 featuring Muay Thai practitioners from 12 countries. Organized by the Perak Muay Thai Association, the event aims to enhance the 2024 Visit Perak Year and become a significant tourism event.

Participants from Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Iran, Laos and Afghanistan will compete with professionals aged 16 to 21 vying for 12 championship belts in evening matches. Daytime matches will highlight local fighters in three categories: Super Kid (9-11 years old), Teen (12-16 years old) and Open (16-21 years old).
