Peterborough secured a place in the EFL Trophy final at Wembley with a convincing win over Blackpool in the semi-final. Former Chelsea youth player Malik Mothersille scored followed by a late brace from Harrison Burrows sealing the victory.
Despite a previous League One loss to Blackpool, Peterborough dominated at Bloomfield Road. The win provides a boost for Peterborough in the League One play-off race. The final on April 7 awaits Posh, and they will face the winner of the match between Bradford and Wycombe.
