Phil Foden’s Hat-Trick Spurs Record-Breaking Premier League Weekend

Manchester City’s Phil Foden scored a remarkable hat-trick against Brentford contributing to a record breaking weekend in the Premier League. Foden’s goals helped City secure a 3-1 victory adding to the high scoring matches across the league.

With a total of 45 goals scored in the 10 game matchweek it marked the highest goal tally ever recorded for a single round of fixtures in the Premier League. This surpassed the previous record of 44 goals set last season.

City’s win narrows the gap at the top of the table to just two points with Liverpool leading. City aims to make history by becoming the first team to win four consecutive league titles.
